When your software won't talk, we build the bridge

Off-the-shelf automation stops at the edge of the tools that support it. Plenty of Australian firms still run on software with no API, a desktop-only database, or a portal that only accepts typing. We build the custom connectors, extractors and small internal tools that get the data moving anyway — and we keep it in Australia.

Legal & Conveyancing

The practice management system has no API

The problem

An older or on-premise matter system (a legacy LEAP or Affinity install, an in-house Access database) holds every matter, but nothing modern can read it. Staff re-key client details into Outlook, the trust ledger and the document templates.

What we build

A connector that reads directly from the database or its scheduled exports, mirrors matters into a modern layer (Notion, Airtable or Microsoft 365), and lets Zapier or n8n automations run from there. The old system stays the source of truth; nobody re-keys anything.

Conveyancing

Settlement dates live in PEXA, reminders live everywhere else

The problem

Cooling-off, finance and settlement dates are tracked in a spreadsheet beside PEXA. A missed date means a penalty interest conversation with the client.

A bridge that captures key dates from the workspace or the contract at matter creation, calculates business-day deadlines by state, and pushes reminders into Outlook, Teams and SMS — with a human confirmation step before anything goes to the client.

Accounting & Bookkeeping

Bank statements that never arrive as a feed

The problem

Credit unions, smaller lenders, loan accounts and some trust accounts only provide PDF statements. Bookkeepers type them into Xero or MYOB line by line every month.

What we build

An AI extractor that turns statement PDFs into clean, Xero-ready bank transaction files with GST codes suggested, flags anything it is unsure about for review, and drops the result straight into the client's file.

Real Estate & Property Management

The CRM and the trust accounting system don't sync

The problem

New tenancies, inspections and maintenance jobs live in PropertyMe, Console or REST, while the sales side runs VaultRE or AgentBox. The same owner is updated in two places, badly.

Personal information in AI is a privacy matter. We treat it that way.

The Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) is clear: the Privacy Act applies the moment personal information is entered into an AI system, and publicly available chatbots are not the place for client data. Every workflow we build starts from that position — not as a disclaimer, but as the design brief.

Enterprise access only. Never a consumer chatbot.

We connect through commercial API and enterprise tiers from Anthropic, OpenAI, Microsoft and Google, where your data is not used to train models and handling is governed by contract rather than a free app's terms. No client information goes through a personal ChatGPT login, ever.

Your own AI first.

If you are on Microsoft 365, Copilot runs inside your tenant under the security, retention and data-residency settings you already control. Google Workspace firms get the same with Gemini. We build on what you already license before we introduce anything new.

Only the data the task needs.

Workflows send the minimum fields required. Names, addresses and identifiers are redacted or tokenised where the task does not need them, and sensitive information — health, financial hardship, criminal history — gets extra controls or stays out entirely.

Overseas processing handled deliberately.

Sending personal information to a model hosted overseas is a cross-border disclosure under Australian Privacy Principle 8. We record where each provider processes data, prefer Australian-region hosting where it exists, and offer private models on your own hardware where it does not.

Written down, so you can answer the question yourself.

Every build ships with a data-flow record: what goes in, which provider, where it is processed, how long it is kept, who can see it. That feeds straight into your privacy policy and AI policy — the transparency the OAIC expects — and we are up front that this is general guidance, not legal advice.

Is it safe to put client information into AI tools?
