We use the information we collect to:

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

• With your explicit consent
• To comply with legal requirements
• To protect our rights and safety
• With service providers who assist in our operations (under strict confidentiality agreements)

4. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

AI tools and our clients' personal information

In delivering consulting services we may configure AI systems that process personal information held by our clients. We do so only through enterprise or API services whose terms exclude use of that data for model training, or through AI features the client already licenses (such as Microsoft 365 Copilot or Gemini for Google Workspace) operating within the client's own environment. We do not enter personal information into publicly available consumer AI tools. Where a proposed workflow would involve disclosing personal information to a provider that processes data outside Australia, we identify this to the client before implementation so they can meet their obligations under Australian Privacy Principle 8. Our clients remain responsible for, and in control of, their own personal information holdings; we act on their instructions and document each data flow we build.

5. Website preview tool

Our website preview tool at likeapro.com.au/projects shows a business its own content in new website designs. When you use it:

What we collect

• The website address you enter, and your confirmation that you own or represent that website.
• Publicly available content from that website's homepage and up to two pages it links to (such as an About page and a Services page): text, images, logo, colours and any contact details published there. This can include names or photos of people that the site itself publishes.
• Your answers to the optional design questions.
• A one-way scrambled code made from your IP address, used only to apply fair-use limits. We don't store your IP address itself.
• Your email address, and your name, phone number and notes, only if you choose to send them to us ("Email me this preview" or "Rebuild it for me").

How it's used and who processes it

• To build your private preview and respond to your request.
• The extracted text is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to organise it into the designs. Anthropic is a business AI provider whose commercial terms don't allow it to use this content to train its models. Anthropic may process data outside Australia, including in the United States.
• Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person, not an automated program, is starting the preview. It processes technical information from your browser for that purpose.
• We only send marketing emails if you tick the box to receive them, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

How long we keep it

• Previews and the copied website content are private, hidden from search engines and deleted automatically after 60 days, or 120 days if you ask us to rebuild your site.
• You can delete your preview straight away with the "Delete my preview" link on the preview page.
• If you send us a request, we keep your contact details and request as a business record for as long as we need to deal with it. You can ask us to delete them at any time.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your data at any time.
